The Seoul Botanical Garden, located in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, is the first urban botanical garden in Seoul that combines parks and botanical gardens organically. It is a space where forests, gardens, lakes and wetlands coexist. The theme park has a large greenhouse displaying plants in 12 cities around the world. It is adjacent to Gimpo Airport (10 minutes) and Incheon Airport (40 minutes), and is directly connected to the subway station.
The Seoul Botanical Garden is designed to introduce 12 plants and plant cultures in the world and to enhance ecological sensitivity of the city. Establishment of a metropolitan green area system centered on the Seoul Botanical Garden to enrich citizens' lives by connecting citizens and nature and providing opportunities for education and cultural events.
