Siheung-si created Lotus Flower Theme park at rice fields of 18ha round Gwangok Reservoir in order to commemorate symbolic and historic feature of Gwangok Reservoir. It also made a walk and a bicycle road in it so that citizens can enjoy themselves. The lotus flowers begin to bloom form the early of July and come into full bloom arouond the end of July. And it is possible to see the flowers until the early of October.
