Many salutations to all from the Land of the Morning Calm, Korea. I am delighted to announce the opening of South Asia＇s first Korean Cultural Centre, here in New Delhi, India. This year is very special as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of India-Korea diplomatic ties. This friendship between India and Korea dates back to ancient times of the celestial marriage between Princess Heo of Ayodhya and King Suro of Gaya, an ancient Korean kingdom. The Korean Cultural Centre India is a humble endeavor to recreate the magic of the by-gone era.
With this little step, we aspire to strengthen the bonds between the two great nations. I would like to invite each one of you to this open house of Korea to soak in the warmth and charm of Korean culture.
In conclusion and on behalf of the staff of the Korean Cultural Centre India, I would like to thank all our supporters, friends and well-wishers for their continued support and encouragement!
