This restaurant makes delicious grilled beef tripe and large intestine. The secret behind the great taste is the marinade; red pepper powder, pineapple, garlic, ginger, sugar, and starch syrup are added to soy sauce and reduced with green onion and licorice root. A nice way to end the meal is with savory cheonggukjang (a stew of fermented soy bean paste) and nurungji (a thin crust of scorched rice from the bottom of the pot). Recommended for lunch are gopchang jeongol (a spicy casserole of beef intestines and vegetables) and yangbap (rice fried with sliced tripe on a griddle).
